Derek Normore, President and Chief Executive Officer


Mr. Normore joined Saxon in March, 2013.  Mr. Normore comes to Saxon with over 32 years of global business experience in the drilling industry.  Prior to joining Saxon, Mr. Normore served as President of Pathfinder, A Schlumberger Company, as North America Smith Acquisition Integration Manager, and as President of Schlumberger Canada Ltd.

Neil J. Hartley
  

Mr. Hartley, Director, joined First Reserve in 2006. Mr. Hartley’s responsibilities include investment origination, structuring, execution, monitoring and exit strategy, with particular emphasis on the equipment, manufacturing and services sector. Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Hartley spent five (5) years in Investment Banking with Simmons & Company International, most recently as a Director, where he focused on corporate finance advisory work in the energy sector. Prior to joining Simmons & Company, he was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc. He also spent seven years with Schlumberger, most recently as a Field Service Manager and Field Engineer. Mr. Hartley holds an M.A. degree in Engineering, Economics, and Management from Worcester College, University of Oxford and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

Vijay Kasibhatla
  

Mr. Kasibhatla is currently Director Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Schlumberger Limited.   Prior to this assignment Mr. Kasibhatla was the Finance & Commercial Director, Schlumberger Production Management (SPM) which included responsibility for reviewing, structuring & monitoring new business opportunities as well as managing the financial and commercial aspects of the production business.  Mr. Kasibhatla has held a number of other positions within Schlumberger including more recently, as the Financial Controller for the Integrated Project management business (IPM) and as an M&A portfolio manager focusing on various acquisitions and divestitures for Schlumberger. Mr. Kasibhatla holds a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A from London Business School.

Michael Mannering
  

Mr. Mannering President, Rig Management Group, Schlumberger, graduated with first class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Southampton University. In 1985 Mr. Mannering joined Schlumberger’s drilling contracting organization, Sedco Forex before being tasked in 1992 to start up Schlumberger Integrated Services, an organization that was to become Integrated Project Management.  In 1999 Mr. Mannering became Managing Director for Schlumberger Oilfield Services UK with responsibility for all of Schlumberger’s N. Sea Operations, and in June 2002, he took responsibility for Quality, Health Safety & Environment for Schlumberger worldwide. In 2008 Mr. Mannering became President of Rig Management for the Schlumberger fleet of owned and partially owned drilling of rigs.

Marwan Moufarrej
  

Mr. Moufarrej President of Schlumberger's Integrated Project Management (IPM), has a degree in Mechanical engineering from the American University of Beirut; an Executive management MBA from Insead, Switzerland; and has completed the Schlumberger strategic innovation program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.  Mr Moufarrej has 28 years of experience with Schlumberger; spanning 4 continents and 12 countries. He started his career as a field engineer in Wireline, and transitioned into management through various assignments to eventually run the entire Middle East region. He then moved to Houston with Schlumberger Drilling and Measurements and was responsible for the transformation of the measurement business. While in Houston he also managed the Integrated Productivity and Conveyance Technology Center in Sugar Land Texas, and prior to his current position he was the Vice President of WesternGeco onshore acquisition and General Manager of Middle East and North Africa region. Mr. Moufarrej enjoys reading, exploring cultures, cooking and Japanese food.

Alan G. Schwartz
  

Mr. Schwartz, Managing Director, joined First Reserve in 2006. Mr. Schwartz's responsibilities include investment structuring, due diligence review, negotiation of deal documentation, portfolio monitoring and exit strategy evaluation. Therefore, in terms of structuring, compliance and legal-related matters, he is involved to some extent in every portfolio company and in structuring the portfolio as a whole. Mr. Schwartz is Chairman of the Firm's Operating Committee. Prior to joining First Reserve, he spent seventeen years at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP where, as a Partner in the firm's Corporate Department, he concentrated primarily in mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyouts. He was also a member of the firm's Energy Practice Group. Mr. Schwartz holds a B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.

Neil A. Wizel
  

Mr. Neil A. Wizel, Director, joined First Reserve in 2007.  His responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring, with particular emphasis on the equipment, manufacturing, and services sector as well as the reserves sector.  Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Wizel worked for five years at Greenbriar Equity Group, a transportation-focused and general industrial private equity firm.  Prior to Greenbriar, he was a Financial Analyst in the Leveraged Finance/Financial Sponsor Group at Credit Suisse First Botston.  Mr. Wizel holds a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University.
