Saxons new line of ATS drilling equipment provides the operator with a highly technical and modular solution.  Through the use of automatic pipe handling, AC drive technology and PLC automation, the ATS rig line can safely and efficiently meet any drilling challenge up to 3000m.  With the elimination of manual tubular handling, PLC automation and the use of a top drive, iron roughneck and power air slips, the rig crew is relocated from the drilling floor into a climate controlled area.
